Interested candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of related experience (purchasing, materials and planning), previously purchased and negotiated contracts for raw materials such as wiring, components, connectors, wiring harnesses etc. and possesses a bachelor's degree. The job requirements include overall objective of reducing procurement costs and days in inventory through highly effective supplier relationships as well as implementing supplier scorecards, identifying and sourcing of new products and new suppliers for continued improvement of quality and costs. Strong computer skills are required and candidates must be highly knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel (testing is required) and have a minimum of 3 years experience working extensively with an ERP or MRP system.
