Christian nonprofit firm is seeking an experience Human Resources Generalist to add to their team. The right candidate will be supportive of the Christian mission, will take charge to initiate new recruitment and engagement endeavors, will motivate and encourage employees effectively, and will handle adversity and conflict with successful outcomes. Duties include recruiting, hiring, and onboarding employees; administering benefits; coordinating labor relations, complaint investigations, workers 'compensation claims and safety training; and assisting the Executive Director with personnel needs. A key component of this opportunity will be to enhance the ministry's efforts by creating volunteer initiatives and streamlining volunteer job descriptions and processes. Hours are Monday: 9-5; Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-5; Friday 8:30-3.

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00

  • Supportive of the organization's mission and beliefs
  • 5+ years' Human Resources Management experience
  • Working knowledge of federal , state, and local laws pertaining to employment and HIPPA.
  • 5+ years' managing volunteers and volunteer projects
  • Employee benefits knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
  • Knowledge of staffing
