Executive Director

Godshall has already found your next career! A local nonprofit is looking for an Executive Director to support the operations, services, and Board of Directors. Responsibilities will include recruiting, hiring, supervising, and evaluating the staff in the performance of their duties, ensuring all legal responsibilities of the organization are met, assisting in recruitment and orientation/training programs for board, and preparing/managing the board approved annual budget. Other duties will include advocating for increased services through improved funding at the local, state, and federal level, representing the agency to the community through personal appearances and presentations, blog posts, letters to the editor, and media interviews, and writing/managing federal, state, and private foundation grants.

Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, health education or family services
  • 5+ years of experience in the health and human service arena
  • 3+ years of administrative experience, nonprofit experience or experience supporting Board of Directors
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and implementation experience
  • Strong PR skills including community outreach and marketing
  • Prior experience overseeing budgeting processes and financial operations
  • Prior grant writing experience
